The QA Level 2 Award in Principles of COSHH (RQF) is an accredited course covering the essential principles of the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health regulations — providing team members with the knowledge to identify, assess, and control workplace exposure to hazardous substances.

Who it’s for

For workplaces handling hazardous substances — including cleaning-services, laboratories, manufacturing, healthcare, food-service, and any sector where employees encounter chemicals or biological agents in the course of their work. Suitable for team members, supervisors, and health-and-safety representatives.

Format

• Delivery: in-person, at your premises for on-site groups or at our Bristol venue for open courses
• Cohort size: up to 12 delegates per instructor
• Materials: printed learner workbook and QA-issued certificate on successful completion
• Assessment: ongoing practical assessment plus a short evaluation on the day

Accreditation and certification

Certified by Qualsafe Awards (QA) against the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at Level 2. Certification valid for 3 years.
