Highfield First Response Emergency Care (Level 3) | 5 day course
Description
This qualification is designed for individuals who operate in complex environments where a significant part of their role involves addressing accidents or medical emergencies. These professionals may be working in contexts where immediate medical response is crucial, and they must be equipped to handle a variety of emergency scenarios effectively.
The training is particularly beneficial for personnel who support project teams in international locations, especially in areas where medical infrastructure is lacking, and access to timely medical assistance is limited. These regions may have inadequate healthcare facilities, prolonged emergency response times, or logistical challenges that complicate quick medical intervention.
By obtaining this qualification, individuals will gain the necessary skills and knowledge to provide critical care and stabilise patients until they can access more advanced medical treatment. This competence is crucial for ensuring the safety and well-being of team members, thereby improving overall project success and safety outcomes.
In accordance with industry guidelines, this qualification supports responders for a period of three (3) years, after which learners will need to retake the course.
