The QA Level 2 Award in Safe Moving and Handling (RQF) is an accredited course covering the principles and practice of safe manual handling in the workplace — reducing injury risk for team members and organisational exposure under manual-handling regulations.

For any workplace where employees carry out manual handling as part of their work — from warehousing and logistics to healthcare, retail, hospitality, and office relocations. Suitable for team members, supervisors, and health-and-safety representatives.

Format

• Delivery: in-person, at your premises for on-site groups or at our Bristol venue for open courses
• Cohort size: up to 12 delegates per instructor
• Materials: printed learner workbook and QA-issued certificate on successful completion
• Assessment: ongoing practical assessment plus a short evaluation on the day

Accreditation and certification

Certified by Qualsafe Awards (QA) against the Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) at Level 2. Certification valid for 3 years.
