Course Description
We all deserve to work and live in an environment that is free of prejudice, discrimination, bullying and harassment. To achieve true equality we must first begin the conversation. Equality, Diversity & Inclusion training is important to encourage empathy, understanding and to foster an inclusive and supportive environment. Whilst most people would like to think they are very liberal, inclusive and supportive, they may not understand the small individual nuances that contribute to a slightly less progressive world.
This training intends to teach people the full breadth of what Equality, Diversity & Inclusion means and how they can take their support a step further to encourage a more diverse, equal and inclusive atmosphere. Whilst this training is aimed at the workplace, elements of this training can be used to identify better behaviours in personal life. It intends to help people avoid making inappropriate comments and encourage people in places of privilege to give others the same opportunities, regardless of their characteristics, and ensure that everyone is treated fairly and equitably.
