The course aims to give context to the upsurge in online training and evaluates the effectiveness of delivering personal training online. The course will identify and develop the key skills for online personal training while defining best professional practice for online fitness training. Learners will be able to utilise resources and technology effectively in planning and preparing for online training. To construct suitable and safe environments for online training and develop effective exercise programmes that are compatible with online training. To develop excellent coaching strategies for working online including communication skills and observation, evaluation, and facilitation of movement. To advocate an innovative and client-centred approach to coaching that places the individual at the forefront of the training process. To develop the skills to be able to integrate online training into a successful business model.
By the end of the course learners will be to identify resources and technology for online training and explain suitable screening procedures for training clients online. Learners will be able to conduct a comprehensive needs analysis for online clients. Learners will become confident in prescribing exercises for a range of online clients and be able to create suitable written, multi-media and online resources to support the coaching process.

Level 3 Fitness Instructors and Personal Trainers, Strength and Conditioning coaches and Pilates instructors wishing to practice online.
How does it work?
The course is delivered in 8 modules exclusively online.
All you need is a compatible device and an internet connection
Access to the 8 modules plus compulsory learning checks at the end of each module. Learning checks must be completed successfully to progress through the modules. There are also intra module learning tasks and a case study and mini-project that require a submission in order to progress. There is also a safeguarding section with learning assessment for UK learners.
